SUA is proud to feature Jim Victor and Marie Pelton as the “Unique Artists” of the Month for November 2018!
Pennsylvania-based, husband and wife team, Jim Victor & Marie Pelton are “Unique Artists” who use various foods, such as butter, cheese, chocolate, and vegetables, as their art media. They are well known for creating the annual butter sculpture for the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, as well as for numerous other State and County Fairs. They are also frequently commissioned to create food sculptures for Corporate and Public Relations Events, such as Hershey’s, Subway’s, M&M’s, and the NFL, to name only a few.
Jim began his career as a food sculptor in the early 1980’s, when he was commissioned to do chocolate portraits of Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller as a promotion for their Broadway play, “Sugar Babies.” His first butter sculpture was done for the Pennsylvania Farm Show in 1995.
